About Aragats Hotel
A small hotel with a big view, welcoming guests since 2016.
Since 2016
A place to rest, to gather and to breathe.
Aragats Hotel opened in 2016 in the village of Aragats, near Aparan, 40 km from Yerevan. We wanted to create a comfortable, welcoming place in the mountains: somewhere to rest, to enjoy free time with family and friends, and to meet in calm surroundings.
Today the hotel has comfortable rooms and a suite, a restaurant, a conference hall and a large garden with a playground, a fire pit and an open-air cinema. Our team is small and local, and many of us grew up in the shadow of the mountain.

The mountain
Mount Aragats
Mount Aragats is a vast extinct volcano and the highest mountain in Armenia. Its broken crater rim forms four summits; the northern one, at 4,090 m, is the highest point in the country.
Snow lingers on the peaks for much of the year and feeds the rivers, lakes and waterfalls of the valley below. From the hotel garden you can see the northern and eastern summits, and locals are always happy to share the legends of the mountain.
