Fire-pit evenings & barbecue
Gather round the stone fire pit as the sun sets over the mountain. Our chefs light the grill for traditional khorovats, served with fresh lavash and herbs.
Hiking Mount Aragats
Mount Aragats is a vast extinct volcano with four summits around a deep crater; the northern peak, at 4,090 m, is the highest point in Armenia. In summer, trails lead past alpine meadows, streams and waterfalls. We are happy to help you plan a route or arrange a guide.
Mountain trips
Lake Kari, Amberd & Aparan
Take a day trip to Lake Kari, high on the southern slopes of the mountain, and the medieval Amberd fortress. Closer to the hotel, visit the early Christian Kasagh Basilica in Aparan and the Armenian Alphabet Monument on the road from Yerevan.
Winter in Aragats
When the snow arrives, Aragats turns white. Go sledging and walking in the snow, rent ski equipment, then warm up by the fire, in the sauna or with a hot drink in the lobby.

The large, fenced garden has a playground, a picnic area and plenty of shade. Indoors there is billiards, table tennis and board games; bicycles can be rented for rides through the village.
